Poker Masters kicked off on Wednesday in PokerGO Studio in ARIA Resort & Casino, where top high roller players will fight for the Purple Jacket and additional $50,000 in prize money. The first Poker Master winner in their inaugural season in 2017 was Germany's Steffen Sontheimer, before Purple Jacket when to Ali Imširović in 2018, Sam Soverel in 2019 and Michael Addamo in 2021 after 1 year hiatus due to COVID.
12 events are scheduled with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 up to $50,000 and players who register before the event starts will not have to pay fee on their tournament entry, but this will not apply for late registrations and re-entries. This series is also part of PokerGo Tour (PGT) and will count towards the overall leaderboard.
Jeremy Ausmus wins Event #1 for $204,000
The winning ways continue for Jeremy Ausmus in 2022 as he grabs his first Poker Masters title, beating 85 players in #Event 1: $10,000 NLHE tournament for $204,000.
Just a few days ago Ausmus won his fifth WSOP bracelet in $365 NLHE Online event at WSOP.com, beating Nick Schulman heads-up. And now the pair squared again in Poker Masters heads-up and Schulman got the short stick once again.
Ausmus now has $12.8 million in career tournament winnings with $2.5 million just from 2022 alone. In the span of one year he won three WSOP bracelets live and one online, took down two US Open tournaments, Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, WSOPC ring and his first ever Poker Masters title.

PokerGO suspende a Ali Imširović y Jake Schindler
PokerGO Tour anunció el jueves las suspensiones indefinidas de Ali Imširović y Jake Schindler del tour, con efecto inmediato. Las suspensiones se extenderán al menos hasta la temporada 2022 del PGT, momento en el cual se realizará una revisión.
Ambos fueron acusados por otros grandes apostadores profesionales de colusión en vivo, cuentas múltiples en línea, uso de herramientas de terceros de asistencia en tiempo real (RTA) para obtener una ventaja injusta y fueron expulsados de GGPoker debido a eso.
Con la suspensión, ya no forman parte de la clasificación del PokerGO Tour. El dúo se colocó en segundo lugar (Jake) y cuarto lugar (Ali) y con su eliminación más los resultados de Poker Masters, Stephen Chidwick está a la cabeza con un solo punto por delante de Phil Ivey.
Los 21 mejores jugadores lucharán en un freeroll solo por invitación para coronar al Campeón del PGT 2022, quien se llevará a casa el premio mayor de $500,000.
